I. Basic
Name: Heisenborg
Age: 35
Time Zone: CST
Availability: All week long, evenings into early morning. I work from home so I basically play all night while working. I know, Don't hate...
Preferred Raid Times: Totally Open
II. Toon
Class: Trooper
Advanced Class: Vanguard
Role: Tank Primary, DPS secondary. PvP Gaurdian and objective focused.
Current Level: 43 - However I have the next 3 days off so I will be 50 by the end of that (1/12/2012)
Level 50 Spec: (Shieldgut PvP Spec) - www.torhead.com/skill-calc#801rRGbbMrogZMsr0o.1
Crew Skills: Currently max lvl Cybertech/Scavenging/Underworld Trading. But will switch to biochem unless devs make the other prefessions as useful for endgame within a few weeks or so.
III. Experience
MMO History: 6+ years of WoW. Also played Galaxies for about a year, WAR, AOC, and GW for a few months each.
Raiding: Raided almost every boss in WoW with the exception of Cata bosses as I stopped before then, including back in Vanilla when it was actually challenging I have played mainly as DPS and was always top 3 DMG and most often #1. I also tanked all Raids in TBC & WOTLK as both main and off tank.
PvP: WoW arena since season 1. Came close to Glad a few seasons as part of 2s and 3s team. Always above 2k rating and higher a couple of seasons. As far as battlegrounds go, if I had a skilled healer and one other DPS with me we could basically guarantee a win unless we were facing a really tough premade.
Leadership: Extensive experience as both raid leader and PvP leader/target caller. Have been a GM and also officer for some time.
IV. Computer Stuff
CPU: I7 2600k OC
RAM: 16 GB Corsair Vengence
GPU: GTX 570 Superclocked (probably going to get another soon due to a monitor/resolution upgrade).
Connection Speed:
Download Speed: 33032 kbps (4129 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1942 kbps (242.8 KB/sec transfer rate)
Headset: Currently using a pair of Sennheiser HD595s with a Microphone attached to the left headphone. I cant find any headsets that can match the sound quality so I rigged one up.
Additional Peripherals: Fatality Platinum X-fi soundcard, an old 8800 GTS for dedicated Physx, Steelseries Sensei mouse, Microsoft Ergo keyboard. Dual monitors
Ventrilo installed: Yes (And configured correctly so I dont sound like a coked out werewolf or a distant ghost.)
V. Whatever Else
Other Contributions: I have an additional dedicated Ventrilo server if needed. I always stay on top of current PvP strategy, reading forums and sites to keep the competitive edge. I will regularly share key articles and information I come across on the forums for our members to sharpen up if they choose to do so. As a matter of fact I have 2 ready to post, regarding Resolve, and also details on how Warzone commendations/medals/valor all relate and what earns you what. Both articles are great short reads, and contain a lot of the answers people have been looking for. Good stuff.
Guild Expectations: #1 a good sense of humor and a willingness to have a good time. Beyond that, I expect that people that sign up for Raids or Organized PvP should do their best to show up on time and be ready to dedicate the time needed to accomplish the eveneing's objectives.
Etc.: I have PvP'd with some of your members regularly, and I have to say you guys are top notch. I did a WZ with Kaih just a few minutes ago and had a good talk afterward, which prompted me to inquire about joining your guild.
And lastly, I can see that you've got a lot of members and probably a lot of people looking for a spot in a raid. So, I understand if there are no Raid spots available and honestly it won't bother me for some time as I am having a blast with the PVP right now. I will need to gear up quite a bit there. If my talents are needed, you can count on me to help. But honestly, I get it if there are no Raid spots until some more groups can form. No worries, I'll be in the Warzones wrecking Sith mouthbreathers and keyboard turners.
Thanks for checking out my app, I look forward to hearing from you guys soon,
