I. Basic
In-Game Name: some faggot already has army, so Arrmy.
Class: I'm not quite sure here; wouldn't mind talking to you guys about this if you have more experience with the game than I do or there is an over abundance, but at present I'm thinking either Medic, Spellslinger, or Warrior. I'm leaning towards Medic>warrior>ss from rumors and playing, but I'm not sure.
Path: Soldier sucks and explorer is tedious, so scientist.
Role: I want to DPS at this point. I used to heal in wow and I know i'm capable of it... and everyone with half a brain can tank heroic dungeons, too. I will certainly play my offspecs. I just truly enjoy doing my best to DPS a boss down and survive the mechanics.
Age: 20
Time Zone: EST. I'm from around Philly
Average Hours Per Week: Its summer. You will literally see me on all day, and after that when school kicks in depending on classes and raid times, I'm usually home and online after five/six to the end of raid.
II. Experience
MMO History: I don't have a lot, actually. Couldn't get over what I felt as TOR's clunky movement, and didn't really try anything else. I did play WoW but I'm a fresh kid from MOP. I started out as a holy paladin and switched over to RET. So yeah. WoW MOP
Raiding: This is where it gets fun. I jumped immediately into a heroic raiding guild because fuck yeah nepotism, since my brother was a healer for the guild and the gear reset put them at very little risk of me slowing them down. The guild was called Storm on Gilneas and I definitely loved those guys; I raided with them until ToT was released and we cleared 8/16[?] or 9/16 Heroic. At the beginning of the next tier the guild fell apart and I put up a LFG and was spoken to by the GM of the guild Taken on KJ and immediately kicked ass there until about august when I was burned out and smothered in a new semester. I ended up killing everything with them except the final boss and the extra; my paladin is named Arrmy there too for confirmation. It doesn't say I've killed DA and while that's technically true, I wiped at 10% on him, so he's dead in my books.
In short I played two tiers of WoW at heroic level and really enjoyed it.
PvP: I don't actually have any PVP experience beyond casual arena's in WoW that I was ass in. As far as Wildstar PVP goes It seems extremely fun and I'm definitely going to be do that. I enjoy the action, skill-oriented game. I play smite a lot if that counts as PVP
Leadership: I've never held a serious leadership role. But I'm a vocal member of any community I'm in and bring a lot of fun in the terms of bad jokes.
III. Computer Stuff
CPU: AMD FX 6200 3.8ghz
this thing is ass for wildstar apparently.
RAM: 10 gigs
GPU: 550ti. uSED TO Have a 6770 in there, but i heard nvidia runs the game better and I had it lying around.
Headset: yes baby yes
IV. Whatever Else
Other Contributions: I have a friend[silverfaux] who will be coming along shortly but is delayed due to personal issues. Also, you're going to fucking love me if we mesh. I guarantee it. I have no out of the game skills like photoshop or shit like that really.
Guild Expectations: I expect to do twenty man content. I expect to do 40 man content. I expect to have people who will pvp with me if I want and us to work together to make sure we have the best preparation for raids possible. I expect a guild that wants to kill the bosses and experience the challenge, not get all the loot in the world. Loot is a tool, not a prize[mostly]. Hopefully a place relatively drama free with fun folk. And while I would never expect someone to have a guaranteed spot no matter their performance, I certainly do expect to be able to be a member of the progression team as long as I'm not slowing them down. So really, in as few words as possible...
I expect fun! And I expect to make friends.
Where did you hear about us? What drew you to us?: First I saw the crazy post with the monkey fucking. Then I saw the real post. Both were on the wildstar forums.
can't wait to [hopefully] talk to you guys on mumble.
